Yaki gyouza - Japanese Potstickers workshop (in English) - 1 SEAT LEFT!

Gyoza, Japan's beloved pan-fried dumplings, are a must-try for any visitor in Japan. You'll find them everywhere from bustling bento shops and lively izakayas to casual ramen joints and even street food stalls. While similar to their Chinese cousin, jiaozi, gyoza are typically smaller with a thinner wrapper. Our signature yaki gyoza boasts a crispy bottom, tender top, and juicy filling thanks to a perfect combination of pan-frying and steaming.

In this workshop, we'll create gyoza from scratch, using a classic pork, cabbage, chive, and shiitake mushroom filling packed with flavor. You'll learn to make your own wrappers and expertly fold the dumplings before cooking them to perfection. The finishing touches are up to you – enjoy your homemade gyoza with dipping sauce, a steaming bowl of rice, refreshing pickles, and a seasonal miso soup.

Great news for those with lactose intolerance – this class is completely dairy-free!
